In the bowl of a blender, add ice cream and milk and pulse until well combined. Slice a little segment of crust from pieces of pie and serve for garnish. Add pie to blender and pulse until smooth.
Pour a thin layer of caramel sauce onto a flat plate and pour a thin layer of cinnamon sugar onto a separate flat plate. Dip the rim of a tall glass into caramel sauce to cover and then immediately dip rim into cinnamon sugar. Repeat with remaining glass.
Pour milkshake into glasses, top with whipped cream and garnish with apple pie crust crumbles or a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve.
Notes
- Pie flavor: This can be done with really any type of pie. I like something a little thicker. I love the apple pie and pumpkin the best.
