A small batch of challah for dinner or small holiday.
Easy to make and delicious. And fun to make with the family.
Eight Challah Rolls
Let's talk about my favorite tips for making these delicious tips and how to!
Roll and Cut Dough
Be sure not to overwork your dough. Roll out the dough and using a bench scraper, divide into 8 equal pieces.
Roll Out Each Piece
Take each piece and gently roll it out into a log. About 1-1.5" wide. Lightly flour as needed.
Knot Challah
Take each log and tie it into a knot. To do this wrap the log around your 4 fingers, cross dough over in your palm, then tuck one end through the other and tie it off.
Lay Out Your Knotted Rolls
Lay out your rolls, brush with egg wash, and top with salt.
