watermelon wine spritzer in a glass with ice and rose

Ending the summer on a watermelon sugar high with this watermelon wine spritzer...basically the easiest cocktail you can make. And it's perfect for keeping cool. I really do love all the produce that summer brings. Although it's not my personal favorite season, I do love the fruit more than other seasons. Nothing beats eating fresh watermelon or peaches or strawberries Like a freshly picked strawberry? Perfection.

My favorite watermelon sparkling juice is from Trader's Joes. I am seriously obsessed with these. I buy them in bulk when I go. In the summer I really don't drink too much other than this, water, and tea. It's become an obsession. But Tyler usually wants a spiked drink with dinner. So, I added some white wine and lime to make him something special. A watermelon white wine spritzer! If you don't have watermelon sparkling juice, you can always use a little sparkling water by itself and some watermelon juice to mix together.

This can easily be changed up for a different flavor profile as well. You can use any of your favorite sparkling juices or sodas. I know TJ's also has a strawberry flavor (not as good as the watermelon in my opinion). Or if you don't like sparkling, you could just use juice, although I don't think it's exactly a spritzer then.

Other fun things to add to your watermelon white wine spritzer are your garnishes, balled watermelons, lime wedges, edible flowers, floral ice cubes, whatever makes you happy!
